Panda, we feel your pain.

May 20, 2009

I just noticed this headline in the Washington Post:

Giant Panda Not Pregnant, Zoo Officials Say

I clicked on the story, and saw this photo. Poor Mei Xiang. I understand. This is sort of how I feel too:

  1. I feel her pain! Glad you are blogging! I am jealous you live in the dc area. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ I am not jealous of your high rent! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I grew up in that area! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I love the sex appeal dc offers. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Hey! I just saw that too! I mean, not too shockingly, since we live in the same area and I was just at the zoo. But when I saw the headline, I was sitting with my sister, and I didn’t trot out my “HEY! ME NEITHER!” because, you know, context.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. It actually did send three times, but I only posted one :). It will be nice to compare notes with someone else who goes to Tepeyac – do you have Dr. C also?

TCOYF is actually the book I was referring to – that’s where I got the dosages. I’m going to start with one or two 50mg B6 pills a day and see where that gets me. If it doesn’t help, I’ll try mucinex, and hope I don’t have to do anything stronger. I’ve always had GOOD CM (oh, achievements! Not that it matters – no baby), but it has been on strike following my HSG and SHG, which has me kind of upset (I’m already infertile. Do I have to get WORSE?) and I’m concerned the tamoxifen will cause further problems.

Are you on any other regimen with Tepeyac? Clomid? Tamoxifen? Surgery? I guess I need to back-read your blog :).

  3. Thanks, Sew. I will try to live up my town’s sex appeal – ha! I am originally from the South, and your blog makes me long for the south again … though I don’t actually know where you are, come to think of it. It just seems to be the south…?

  4. Misfit, thanks. It actually sent five times, didn’t it? How embarrassing. I did not see that little “pending approval” message and it kept redirecting me to wordpress, blahdeblah.

I have Dr. B, and I have not written about the regimen, such as it is, so I shall do that this week!

I think there are at least four of us in the DC area! We could start our own little in-real-life IF support group.
